Coming soon: Family Friendly Stays, a new family travel blog link up

Next month, I will be starting a new monthly family travel blog link up called Family Friendly Stays.

Have you stayed somewhere brilliant on holiday which you’d like to share with other families? Maybe it’s a property you return to every year or perhaps it’s a place you’ve discovered only recently. Alternatively, if you’re in need of holiday inspiration, do come and check out the posts which will be linking up with Family Friendly Stays.

As the internet becomes an increasingly complex place to navigate, picking the right family holiday can be a tricky business. If money is no object, it’s pretty easy to find a family friendly villa or hotel which covers all the essential requirements. Likewise, if you’re happy to go down the all-inclusive route, there are tried and trusted tour operators who can help you find the perfect resort for your family. However, what if you’re searching for something else? It can be a needle in a haystack trying to find the right holiday for your family.

I’m hoping this monthly link up will bring like-minded people together. Link up a blog post about a place you have stayed at which has worked for you as a family. It might be a cottage with a lovely garden for little kids to explore or a villa with speedy WiFi which is close to a resort for teens to escape to; perhaps it’s a well-placed city centre apartment or youth hostel or maybe it’s simply a small hotel which made your family feel welcome. The place you review might not have all the typical bells and whistles of a traditional family friendly property, we all have differing ideas of what constitutes a family friendly place to stay.
